What comes with the DriftKit? Good question- this will depend on the package you choose. Every DriftKit sold will come with the three bottles, two tubes, nail clippers, contact case, spool of floss and short-handled toothbrush. If selected, a razor handle can be purchased and included.
I already own a razor, will it fit? This is difficult to know without testing. DriftKit is designed for Gillette Fusion, Mach3, and Sensor handles due to popularity and size constraints.
I don't wear contacts. Why do I need a contact case? It made sense to design the DriftKit for everyone to use. Consider using the contact case to hold small items, like breath mints, chewing gum, or lip balm. Another design for the upper section is being developed. Have ideas? Let us know.
Can I use my own toothbrush and other items? In order to make all of the components fit compactly, the DriftKit was designed with specific brands in mind. There are other things that may fit, just make sure to test them before
traveling. For your convenience, a full set
of items is included with your DriftKit to get you started.
Where do I get replacement floss, toothbrushes, etc? If successfully funded, replacement quantities will be sold here. In addition, a list of vendors for suitable substitutes will be provided.
Why are you offering extra sets of bottles and tubes? People pack differently and have specific needs for different activities. For example, hiking might require bug spray and a business trip mouthwash. With extra containers, refilled backups are ready to go and provide a variety of option.
Why the "Macro" and "Micro" openings? These areas are free for anything from a bar of soap to credit cards. Check out the photo gallery for options!
How much does this weigh? A DriftKit with liquid-filled bottles and the other components weighs approximately one pound.
Is the DriftKit waterproof? No, but it can be! Any moisture within a waterproof box would cause mold if closed and forgotten. We purposely removed the perimeter seal in the box so that even when closed, the DriftKit will breathe and dry out. For supporters more concerned with potential leaks, we can provide an optional perimeter seal that will ensure a leak-proof DriftKit interior when submerged in one meter of water for one-half hour.
